Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about what happens when you lose it. How to get it back we've all had times we get on the golf course and start making shots like that and you're like the hell is going on you can't do anything. When you lose your way on the golf course what you're going to tend to find is that you tend to get quick get anxiety you tend to get anxiety you to get to still get to begin moving too fast. So the 1st thing you have to do to get it back is slow down take the anxiety away take the anxious feelings away and slow down.

The 2nd thing you want to do is make a lot of super relaxed lucy goosey practice swing before you hit the golf ball because usually there is some residual tension and if you can relax then you can make lucy goosey golf swings and if I'm going to hit this golf ball all I am going to do is relax and just go. Usually what I'm going to find is my body will find it like you know but we all know if we get too tight tense jumping you know just you're not going to find it we've all done that. So don't spend the whole day like that do the exact opposite slow down get relaxed have some fun and just chill out and if you do that I'll guarantee you you'll get it back.
