As a golfer and as a golf coach I come across a lot of golfers who are kind of frustrated with the game of golf. Their frustration comes from standing on the driving range looking in the mirror checking their positions following on line instructions to make sure they are in good positions and they are doing it nicely but when it comes to hitting the ball it seems to not go anywhere. It does have that violent that zip off the club face and they've been out driven by their mates on the golf course. Now the frustration there can be because the golf doesn't know where the lack of power is coming from nice big strong person big full swing ball doesn't go anywhere and the problem could be the lack of sequencing in their golf swing. So all their positions are correct but they're not necessarily timing everything correctly so if they're playing all the right notes but just not necessarily in the right order.

Now one of the ways I teach this principle this theory is the fact that if you were to take a golf ball and throw it from your opposite hand. So as a right handed person if I throw from my right hand everything can look quite smooth quite relaxed and quite powerful but I'll be completely honest with you if I throw from my opposite hand my left hand I feel like I've got sort of equal amounts of power on one side or another but there's much less coordination from my opposite hand. So when I throw it it comes out a little bit limp and it doesn't go anywhere anywhere near as far as if I were to throw it with my other hand. Now try that yourself go to the driving range take a couple of balls lob one out there with your strong hand like one out there with your opposite hand I'm sure you will notice the difference in how far it goes but also how it feels. Now that could relate to your goal swing that you've got all the right positions in your swing but you're not necessarily timing the ball in getting the ball in the right order. Now in this set of videos it is going to be about the correct sequencing in a golf swing and if you can add the sequencing and the correct positions together. Then hopefully you've got a golf swing that not only feels better but performs better better contact more consistency and a lot more distance which all leads to lower golf scores.
