Tucking The Right Elbow In During The Golf Swing (Video) - by Peter Finch

In this video series we are going to look about the right elbow and why it should be tucked in during the golf swing. Now the right elbow is an interesting subject because you’ll see many golfers really from all the ability right up to the highest level, use different positions as far as the right elbow is concerned. If you look at the all time major winner Jack Nicolas in his right elbow, at the top of his golf swing, it was very much away from his body in what’s known as a flying right elbow position. So its not an across the board rule, but what you would generally say is people who keep that right elbow closer to their side during the back swing will have more consistent techniques. So what we are going to have a look at is about; and why you should do it, how you can do it, some drills that you can actually take onto the range and onto the course about keeping that right elbow close to your side. We are going to cover lots of ground in this, hopefully it’ll be pretty much a comprehensive cover about why and how you can do it, so let’s have a little bit of a look and get going.
