Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about how to control your lower body. A lot of times people get excessive in the motion and the let the hips run out from under them trying to fire those hips and they need to get that more power and control highschool kids college kids have a lot of issue with that because what they tend to do is have so much flexibility that the hips run out from under them. When that happens the pivot tends to fall back the low point tends to fall back club tends to go in to out and it leads into trouble.

What I would recommend it if you're one of these players at the tendency to let lower body runout upper body I will show you a drill. All your going to do is set up like this pull your right foot back everything else is where it is and I. Know what you're going to find it with your right but that it not in a very easy to run out on that would be the 1st way I would do it the 2nd way I would. If to keep the right foot down the right foot and roll in we're ending up but you want to get the right foot rolling in an act and in an up close and I can look like this. Get the hips the arms the body to all work together and I promise you will have more fun.
