Short Game Practice - Use the SAME Balls! by Tom Stickney Tom Stickney - A Top 100 Golf Teacher Tom Stickney – A Top 100 Golf Teacher

Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about your short game practice. All too often I see people they come out to the practice facility and they hit practice balls around the short game area as opposed to the balls they play with. Now the reason why it's so vitally important is to use the same ball is because if I use these particular practice balls that we have here at big horn there are certain brand and there are certain high quality premium ball.

So I know that if I use these and also have the same balls in my bag that if I practice a flop sho with these particular golf balls I will get the same feel to golf course. However, if I use harder range balls and then I go out to hit a softer golf ball the golf course I'm going to have 2 different feels. So remember always practice with the golf balls that you tend to play with on the golf course. If you have to go to the store and get some old used practice balls that are the same quality that you play with I would highly recommend you do it because if you don't you get 2 different feels and that gives you trouble.
