Joost Luiten is a Dutch golfer 29 years old who over the last couple of years performances have catapulted into the world top 50 getting the invites to competitions all around the world and also seeing him record a couple of victories on the European Tour. Now Joost has a couple of unique movements in his golf swing now one of the best ones is how he powers his lower body through the actual shot. Many good technical aspects of the backswing and the through swing that as he comes through the ball the right knee kicks inwards and almost outwards a little bit towards the ball.

Now this movement also allows him to rotate his hips very, very quickly and for the club to fall on a very, very good angle and a very, very good path coming into the ball. Now normally you’re on the right knee pretty much moving sideways and then the hips beginning to turn. Joost Luiten right leg comes inwards and outwards and then the club comes down but it does have the added advantage of getting those hips turning a little bit quicker. So if you did to want to give this a try swing it to the top of the backswing and then get the right knee moving sideways and almost a little bit forwards down towards the ball. And it should allow the hips to rotate quite quickly away. Joost is a very, very exciting prospect potentially the best golfer that Netherlands has produced, so keep an eye on how he gets off.
