When you're selecting a golf ball you'll often see on the packaging it talks about the compression of the golf ball. It might be a 100 compression, 98 and maybe even a 70 compression golf ball. That's just the firmness of the golf ball, a play with the fastest swing speed, maybe somebody that swings their club at over 95 miles an hour with a driver, they would be looking for a higher compression golf ball, maybe a 100, maybe 90 compressions. But if you got a slightly slower swing speed, maybe an 80, 70 compression golf balls would be better for you. It would give you a slightly softer feel.

And it will actually maximize your distance, but if you’re a fast swinger of the club you like a nice firm feeling golf ball maybe a 90 or 100 compression would be better. But again a good tip here would be to try out the different compression, experiment with them just buy a sleeve of 100 compressions and a sleeve of 80 compressions. Take them out to the different parts of the golf course.hit a few drives, hit a few irons, hit a few chips and particularly putt. You might actually feel the difference is the most when you're hitting the shortest shot when you're getting the feedback through the putter between the softer and the harder golf ball. So work out which compression of golf ball suites you the best.
