Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about how to control your 3 wood how to make sure that you hit it solid. A lot of times what I see when people are hitting 3 woods they take it back they tend to wiggle weight moves back outside of the right foot when that happens low point moves backwards you either hit behind it or you pull up and hit it thin. A simple way for you to make sure you hit your woods better by controling your lower body.

What I want you know is to focus on your right foot but keeping the right knee more stationary it's just like throwing a baseball your turn into that flex the weight stays right here. If the weight goes outside of your right foot or even if your heel that's telling you your right knee is moving around. So if you'll just do some choreography and just look out your right knee it makes sure that you take it back it stays right where you're going to find a lot more stability in the backstroke we agree with. If you have a lot more stability in the backswing with your 3 woods you will be able to hit more shots with that 3 wood so stay still that is absolutely the most important thing you can do if you wiggle you're done.
