Why You Thin Your Irons - (Video) Lesson by PGA Pros Pete Styles and Matt Fryer

In this video tip PGA Professionals Pete Styles and Matt Fryer will discuss why you are thinning your irons. They will clear up issues relating to weight transfer and how this can affect strike, how spinning your body during the downswing can cause a problem and they will also use a simple bottle drill to help you feel the correct movements.

One of the most frustrating shots I find in golf Pete is when you've teed up ball down off the tee, into the middle of the fairway, and then you seem to find the last groove or not even the groove, you find the lead in edge of the club. And particularly in winter, when it sends up tingle up your fingers, the thin shot, why do we do that? Why is it so annoying?
