Tommy Fleetwood is a 24 year old English golfer and one of the most exciting prospects currently playing on the European Tour. Already European Tour winner at the Alpha Don Hill Championship at Gleneagles, he is well on his way to becoming a world renowned golfer. And one of the things that really make him stand out is his fantastically sequenced golf swing. His arms, his hands, his body, all work in unison to produce very consistent results. And the way he does that is through connection. On the backswing, his hands start the backswing as they move the club away, his arms follow while staying connected to the body, his body begins to rotate, his body begins to turn, his right hips move out the way very, very slowly, as the wrist start to hinge and set into a position at the top.

Now all those different positions can be worked on individually what Tommy Fleetwood does fantastically with his swing is he gets them working together and synched up, and on the way down, that reverses itself, so the weight moves forward, the right hip starts to turn, the arms and the shoulders move down, the hands move down last of all, until the club head reaches impact. And he does this with a very, very swift and very, very smooth tempo at the same time. So connected swing, nice and nippy with the swing pace, and it is a very simple motion to get that ball moving away. So already winner on tour, and much more to come from this young man.
