multi layered term

Multi-Layered Golf Ball (aka Three-Piece or Four-Piece Golf Ball): A golf ball constructed of more than two pieces. These typically include a core, mantle (casing) and cover. Balls with more than three layers may include a second core or mantle. Multi-layered balls generally fall into the Tour/Advanced/Performance category, and feature a softer feel with more spin than Premium or Value/Recreational/Distance models.
