Escondido Golf & Lake Club Course Review

The Escondido Golf & Lake Club was designed by architect Tom Fazio ten years ago in 2006 and its a private facility, available for the members and their guests only. This beautiful golf course sits on a piece of property located in Hill Country, approximately fifty miles northwest of Austin Texas, one of the most beautiful areas in the United States in this writers opinion. The Escondido Golf & Lake Club features a southwest Spanish theme and the layout is Tom Fazios classic signature. The conditioning of the golf course is top-notch throughout the layout and youll definitely admire the gentle rolling terrain and the mature oaks which are framing the golf course, creating a hugely enjoyable atmosphere and also offering you a great variety of shot opportunities each and every round. If you need assistance during your game, highly trained caddies are there to help at any time; also, if youll be suffering from Texass famous heat, snacks and drinks are available in the nearby comfort station.

Some say that the Escondido Golf & Lake Club is one of Texass best kept secrets, due to its impressive amenities and the impeccable golf course. In terms of metrics, the course boasts its 7168 yards of golf from its longest tees for a 71 par and obviously, its an 18 hole regulation length golf course. Visiting the Escondido Golf & Lake Club youll be delighted by the pastoral setting, i.e. the beautiful shores of the LBJ Lake in the heart of Texas Hill Country and youll have the chance to experience the old flavor of Tuscany, which is basically reborn here. Avid Golfer Magazine ranks the Escondido Golf & Lake Club as the finest golf community in Central Texas area. Also, Dallas Morning News puts the Escondido among the best golf courses in Texas. Bottom line, if you want to spend some quality time while playing your favorite game in Hill Country, the Escondido Golf & Lake Club is very easy to recommend.
