An absolute picturesque masterpiece. If you are familiar at all with the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC, then you have a pretty good idea of what the golf course offers. Whether you are looking for an immaculate golf course, or just want to ride around and enjoy the scenery, then you are in the right place.

The second you reach the golf course, it wall hits you. The clubhouse is the most stunning thing you have ever seen, and it truly sets the precedent for the rest of the day. Built in 1922, and a true Donald Ross design, Biltmore combines the classic feel, with the modern day beauty. The course is not the longest you will play (just under 6,300 yards), but the undulation throughout makes it seem much longer than it really is. The course follows a typical Ross layout, with distance lacking, but very difficult greens throughout. If you are familiar with a Ross designed course, you are urged to miss below the hole, or trouble awaits. Biltmore is no exception. For what is lacks in distance, they make up for it in green difficulty, and of course undulation throughout. The entire course is actually quite simple, and very straight forward. With only two dog-legs on the entire course, you will have ample opportunity to see from tee to green with ease. This allows for ample scoring opportunities, and it provides golfers with more trust off of the tee. As I previously mentioned, there is not a lot of length with Biltmore, so if you are looking to come out and bomb driver all day then turn away. On the other hand, if you are looking for a fun round with the most amazing views you can have on a golf course, then look no further.
