Fallen Oak Golf Club Course Review
The Fallen Oak Golf Club was designed by the well-known architect Tom Fazio in 2006 and its located in Saucier Mississippi, being a private resort available only for members and their guests. The golf course features 7487 yards from its longest tees for a 72 par layout, having an 18 hole regulation length and yardages which are accessible to almost all golf players, regardless of their skill level. Visiting here, youll be amazed by the beautiful piece of real estate this golf course was built upon and youll definitely enjoy the century old oak trees streams, together with the surrounding Marshland and lakes, the magnolia and pecan groves, not to mention the impeccably manicured TifEagle greens, the pride and joy of the Fallen Oak. The lush landscape is the main selling point of the Fallen Oak Golf Club in this writers opinion, as the terrain which sits on the edge of the DeSoto National Forest is rich in trees (over 4000 pines, oaks and other hardwood trees), streams, ponds and wetlands. The incredible variety of the landscape together with the water hazards will provide you with both beauty and challenges throughout the course, making every round played here worthwhile.
The golf course itself was specially (exclusively even) built and designed to please the guests attending the nearby Beau Rivage tourist resort and its outstandingly dotted with myriads of colorful magnolias, while the dramatic and challenging elevation changes will make your day. But by far, the most tricky and treacherous element of design youll encounter while playing the Fallen Oak Golf Club is the cleverly placed bunkers. The greens are excellent and the course conditions are almost perfect, making for a fine golfing experience, due in no small measure to the extraordinary staff. The layout is terrific and in immaculate condition, the greens are true and the golf course plays hard but fair, the design is great and the surroundings astonishing, even breathtaking, the Fallen Oak Golf Club being a must-try for golf players visiting Biloxi.
