What are the key down swing positions to hit sweet hybrid golf shots? Now the down swing and the actual positions in the down swing can be practiced, broken down individually to make sure you're moving along the right plane and the right path into the ball. Now the key positions you can actually check and this is kind of you know bearing in mind that we have a nice fall in current back swing. If we get to the top of the back swing, we got a nice turn, a nice forward rotation, the first move and then we need make and the hips just turn and rotate towards the target.

If we can get the hips to turn and to rotate towards the target, we want our hands to be dropping down into this position here where the putter and the club points down towards the target line like this. The hips then continue to turn until this point here, where the hands start to point down towards the ball and the club is back in this position here. In front of the hands when viewed from down the line and the putter and the club pointing down towards the target. From there you can continue to turn, let the club drop into impact and really fire through the ball. And like I said you can practice all these positions kind of in isolation. So after all these just want to practice to begin with is the turn to the top, the turn and then the drop and then from there continue to kind of key that wrist and it's nice to set and power into the ball. And if you can get those positions and you can work on them and groove them, you’ll very sweet hybrid shots. So take those positions to the range, give them a go, and hopefully the sweet shots will follow.
