If we now understand how important it is to hit this sweet spot in the middle of the clubface, and don’t forget it’s only about the size of a thumbprint right in the middle of the clubface. That’s going to be quite difficult to do with a normal golf swing. But I will tell you what; it’s going to be super difficult to do if you are unbalanced into the bargain as well. In fact where a golfer stands over the ball, and rocks backwards and forwards and left and right, you can see how much of a big impact that’s going to have on where the club head is coming down towards the golf ball. And if you are off balance in the start of your swing and then you start to turn the power on, you become more off balance during the swing. You literally have no chance to hit the sweet spot on a regular basis and regular basis is the key here.

You might strike the ball correctly once in a while, they say even a broken watch is right twice a day. So if you are off balance you might be able to strike the ball once in a blue moon and hit one down in the middle of all it’s great, I really stroke that ball well, I am a great ball striker. But then the next time you come to it, you stand there and you hit the toe, next time you stand to it you hit the heel, you think oh maybe I am not such a good ball striker but I did get a good one, but unless your balance is consistent and solid and stable, from the start of your swing, through to the top of your swing, through to your follow through position, you can’t guarantee that you are going to be in accurate, good, clean ball striker time after time unless you get that balance sorted. So next time you are at the range work on hitting golf shots and trying to hold perfect balance after every swing. So I am going to set it to this one, I have got good balance, I made my swing, hold my balance, still hold it, still hold it, still watch the ball flight land next to my red flag and I haven’t moved my balance, I am still nice and stable. If you can do that in your next practice session for 50 golf shots, not a single one of those 50 should you be falling over this way in the finish, then you will prove to me that you’ve got good balance then you will start to become a better ball striker.
