Prom Meesawat was a golfing prodigy, twice winning his age group (’97 and ’02) at the World Junior Golf Championships.  Meesawat also won multiple Asia Pacific Junior Championships.  After three consecutive victories (2001-2003) in the Thailand Open Amateur Championship, Meesawat turned professional.

Meesawat found success on the Asian Tour in 2005, recording 5 top ten finishes.  His momentum continued in 2006 and he picked up his first Asian Tour win at the SK Telecom Open.

In 2012, a string of solid finishes in Asian Tour events that were co-sanctioned by the European Tour, earned Meesawat his European Tour card for the balance of the 2013 season.  Meesawat hoped to follow in the footsteps of his Thai compatriot Thongchai Jaidee who has made a nice career for himself on the European Tour.

Last year, Meesawat captured his second Asian Tour win at the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship.

In 2015, in an effort to play full-time on the European Tour, Meesawat decided to play full-time on the Challenge Tour, the European Tour’s Web.com equivalent.  Meesawat recorded his best ever finish on the Challenge Tour with a second place at the SEE Scottish Hydro Challenge.

Meesawat has only played in one Major Championship – the 2011 Open Championship.
