    Tringale was born in Mission Viejo, California and, after graduating from Mission Viejo High School in 2005, he began studying at Georgia Tech where he was NCAA All-American on three occasions. During his freshman year at College Tringale won the Atlantic Coast Conference championship.  In 2009 Tringale qualified for the U.S. Open but he did not make the cut. That same year Tringale was selected for both the Palmer Cup and Walker Cup teams.

    Tringale turned professional in 2009, and was successful in gaining a PGA Tour card for 2010, at qualifying school. In his first PGA Tour season Tringale finished in 176thplace on the Tour money list, having finished his best finishes by tying for 11th place at both the Viking Classic and the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Tringale finished fourth at qualifying school and secured his PGA Tour card for the following season. During the 2011 PGA Tour season, Tringale achieved two fourth place finishes and one fifth place finish.

    Tringale’s best finish on the 2012 Tour was fourth at Farmers Insurance Open, and his best finish in 2013 was third at the Tampa Bay Championship. In 2014 Tringale finished in fourth place at both the Houston Open and the Greenbrier Classic.

    Away from the course Tringale actually wanted to be an actor as he was growing up. He lists his best moment in golf as making the clinching winning putt to secure the win in the 2009 Walker Cup.

    As of the end of 2014, Tringale had yet to achieve a win on the PGA Tour, but had amassed prize money of $5,997,094.
