Alex Noren is a professional golfer from Sweden, who is currently playing in the European Tour and the PGA Tour. Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, Alex Noren started playing golf at a local club, the Haninge Golf Club respectively, and at the end of 2005 he reached the final stage of the European Tour qualifying school, gaining a place on Europe’s 2nd tier Challenge Tour. Before turning pro back in 2005, Alex Noren went to the US, where he attended Oklahoma State University. During his first PGA season, Noren claimed his maiden victory at the Rolex Trophy.

Currently, Alex Noren is a Top 125 Non-Member in the PGA Tour. In November, Alex Noren achieved his 4th title of 2016, at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, winning 1.6 million dollars, the largest prize in his career so far. Noren qualified for the 2017-2018 PGA Tour via non-member FedEx Cup points, finishing runner up in January 2018 at the Farmers Insurance Open, losing to Jason Day. Also in 2018, he placed 3rd at the Honda Classic.
