CG 588 MT Irons Review

Cleveland Golf 588 MT Irons are all about MT, TT and attitude, being basically a 588 forged iron to suit everyone. You know, that kind of popular fellow, the soul of the party, the passé par tout of golf gear. Falling into the category of game improvement irons, the 588 MT retail for $699 in the steel version and $799 in the graphite. Being great all-rounder irons, they’re built featuring a hollow head design, aimed at positioning the center of gravity as low/deeper as possible for producing a repeatable and consistent mid trajectory ball flight, round after round.

For enhancing ball speeds and feel, Cleveland Golf used a forged face insert and specially designed rounded soles, which are great from a variety of lies, especially on full swings.  Since the CG 588MT irons are pretty chunky and have a lower/deeper COG, they come with loads of forgiveness and they’re also able to go through the turf pretty well without bouncing in excess. Also, Cleveland Golf created a great looking package for game improvement irons, thick and forgiving yet looking a lot like regular irons. Since the face is forged and the body comes with a design which boosts confidence, these babies are a pretty solid set of golf gear, easy to hit and aimed at high to mid handicap players. These are truly muscular irons with a solid look and feel, inspiring loads of confidence and they come highly recommended by your truly, any day of the week!
