Bermuda Run Country Club Course Review

    1. Bermuda Run Country Club Course Review

The best part about Bermuda Run is not even the practice facilities, the golf course itself, is second to none. Recently redone with Bermuda Greens, the golf course is possibly the most difficult around and dont expect to survive with irons off the tee either. This is a very long track, and you will need to drive it at a top level, or trouble awaits. Another added bonus, is the fact that there are two courses at Bermuda Run, with the second course being a members paradise. Sitting at about 6,800 yards, the West Course suits anyones eye, and scores tend to be very low here.

    2. Bethpage State Park (Black) Golf Club Course Review

But what makes the Bethpage State Park (Black) Golf Club different, you may ask? Well, the most important thing is that the Black course is one of the very few opportunities the regular golfer has for playing a great game on a world-class PGA Tour course, that will not require you to put a second mortgage on your home. Playing for the first time here, you should expect a high score, as the Black one of the most challenging layouts in the US and also one of the best in the country. Keep in mind that the Bethpage State Park (Black) Golf Club is extremely difficult, being recommended for high skill players and it's located on an awesome parkland layout featuring outstanding Tillinghast designed bunkers, a long rough, only 1 water hazard and big trees. If you're Joe Public, you'll not find a better place to tee it up on a US Open grade golf course than the Bethpage State Park (Black) Golf Club.

    Biltmore Forest Country Club Review

    3. Biltmore Forest Country Club Review

The entire course is actually quite simple, and very straight forward. With only two dog-legs on the entire course, you will have ample opportunity to see from tee to green with ease. This allows for ample scoring opportunities, and it provides golfers with more trust off of the tee. As I previously mentioned, there is not a lot of length with Biltmore, so if you are looking to come out and bomb driver all day then turn away. On the other hand, if you are looking for a fun round with the most amazing views you can have on a golf course, then look no further.

    Birkdale Golf Club Course Review

    4. Birkdale Golf Club Course Review

Offering full access memberships for $115 per month, Birkdale is the best deal in the Charlotte area. When you become a full member, you will have full access to the practice facilities, which include a very cool putting green that wraps around two trees, a grand short game facility, and a driving range that goes on for days. Any aspiring golfer should give Birkdale a shot, and the practice facilities are not even the best aspect. The golf course is supreme, and the layout is very unique. Combining a Links style with the traditional layout, they really did it right with this course. About half of the holes are links style, and it provides a really neat atmosphere going back and forth between the two different styles during your round.

    5. Bonita Bay Club Course Review

Bonita Bay Club is the 1st facility in SW Florida to provide GolfBoards for its members at the Naples facility. GolfBoards are a hybrid between a surfboard and a skateboard on wheels, to be used by a single person, being a lot more healthier compared to regular golf carts. Aside from being a golf club aimed at enhancing the health of its members, the Bonita Bay Club offers National Geographic-like distractions for its attending guests, such as daring raccoons making ninja-like raids on golf carts, stealing everything from cameras and smartphones to half eaten sandwiches.

    Boston Golf Club Course Review

    6. Boston Golf Club Course Review

Being a very low key golf club, the Boston features an artisan character and boasts an attitude that golf matters, offering beauty, challenge and variety, exceeding all expectations if this is the first time you're playing here. Everything is focused around golf, the course itself is in impeccable condition, the caddies are great while the holes are nothing short of memorable, as you'll be able to play them in various ways. However, even if the course itself is pretty tough, it's fair and playable, being one of the best in the larger MA area and arguably the best private golf club in New England. Everything from the clubhouse to the pro shop is near perfect, with fast greens and walking only, as it was originally intended. Overall, the Boston Golf Club makes for an awesome experience, being the ideal private club in this writer's opinion.

Broadmoor (East) Golf Club Course Review

    7. Broadmoor (East) Golf Club Course Review

This resort is imbibed in the old Western spirit, providing you with endless opportunities for exploring the picturesque canyons, streams and mountains nearby. But the East course is the star of the show, being completed way back in 1918 as the highest golf course in the US, being built at a 6400 feet elevation and Ross's best work, according to his own statement. The new East course features an interesting melange between the original design mixed with Robert Trent Jones's 1964 touches, when he re-designed the holes.

Also, the East course hosted major tournaments in the past, such as the 1959/1967 US Amateur and also the 1995/2011 US Women's Open. Being located on the outskirts of Colorado, the Broadmoor (East) Golf Club is a luxury resort, featuring 700 guest rooms and an excellent full service, offering a great variety of shopping and dining opportunities besides golf. From a golfer's point of view, you'll be absolutely amazed by the epic mountain views and the vivid wildlife. Truth be told, the East is a very nice course, but it's definitely trumped by how awesome the resort and the scenery is.

Bryan Park Golf Course Course Review

    8. Bryan Park Golf Course Course Review

Once you have made your way to the course, you have 2 to choose from the Players Course, and the Champions Course. The Players Course is by far the easier of the two, and the conditions are never as good as the Champions. Dont expect to get your moneys worth at this track, they clearly invested all of their time and money into the Champions Course, which is where I would advise playing if you have the privilege of visiting this facility. On the Champions Course, you will be greeted with Bermuda throughout, and the conditions are second to none. The layout is fairly straightforward, but dont expect to survive with irons and fairway woods off of the tees you will need to use Driver at every stop.

Playing here, you'll be delighted by the impressive panorama offered by the Berkshire foothills and the spectacular views you'll encounter all over the property. The Bull's Bridge Golf Club will appeal golfers of all skill levels while the impeccable conditioning and the natural beauty of the place will make for a memorable, truly unique golfing experience. The most outstanding feature of the Bull's Bridge Golf Club is represented by its greens, which are among the finest in the state, together with the course's rugged elevation changes.
