New Balance Minimus Sport Golf Shoe Review

The New Balance Minimus Sport shoes were inspired from minimal running but designed for performing great on the golf course. The water-proof upper is built from a special mesh, which keeps the shoes light, yet flexible and strong, offering breathability and comfort for your feet in any type of climate/weather.

The low profile of the New Balance Minimus Sport is aimed at keeping you as close to the ground as possible, for great tactile feedback and a natural feel/fit during your swings, in a “natural motion” kind of way. The midsole is built using New Balance’s signature REVlite technology, which consists in a specially injected foam directly inside the sole, which gives these babies premium responsiveness, cushioning and durability, while keeping the shoes light and comfy. In terms of stability, the New Balance Minimus Sport are built with a welded TPU cage and a 4 mm drop from heel to toe which allows your feet to stay almost parallel to the turf, thus greatly improving your posture during your favorite game. Being highly supportive, extremely light and flexible, these shoes benefit enormously from their dual density/two color spikeless rubber outsole design, especially in terms of comfort and tactile feedback. Also, being a spikeless pair of golf shoes, the Minimus Sport are a versatile piece of footwear, feeling as home both on and off the golf course. Retailing for just $119 and offering fantastic levels of comfort (even for people with wide feet, thanks to their smart design) and traction in any situation, I can recommend them as the no-nonsense option for casual golf players.
