Adidas ADICROSS IV Golf Shoe Review

The Adidas ADICROSS IV golf shoes are a relatively low budget option, being priced at just $90. In my opinion, these babies are playing in the “the best bang for the buck” league, if you’re not a professional golf player yet you care about what you’re wearing on the turf.

I must confess that I absolutely love spikeless golf shoes, due to their versatility and comfort which becomes obvious on links golf courses with their tough surfaces or, why not, when going to the driving range where walking on tarmac may be a real pest in spiked shoes.
Generally speaking, spikeless golf shoes are designed with little to no attention to the traction elements on the sole, the grips I mean.
That doesn’t mean that they’re slippery, most of them do their job pretty good, but they will never be as good as spiked golf shoes.

These shoes, I mean the ADICROSS IV, come pretty close to that goal though, especially on wet terrain. Having an old school design and benefiting enormously from the super flexible adiwear spikeless outsole enhanced with puremotion technology, the Adidas ADICROSS IV will never let you down!
The secret for their spikeless yet incredibly grippy outsole rests in the 72 well-placed lugs which offer a nice combo of comfort and traction in any situation.

Cushioning and comfort is guaranteed all day long by the cloudfoam sockliner and also by to the extra EVA cushioning that lays underneath the sockliner and the classic adicross street last. Everything contributes to the ultra light feel and amazing comfort, especially the puremotion midsole, that imitates the natural motion of the bare foot, I.e. fast reaction time, stability and efficiency. The outsole is built to last and incorporates ADIWEAR tech for high wear resistance.

As you can see, despite their relatively modest price tag, the Adidas ADICROSS IV are packed with high tech features, making for an excellent “all rounder” golf shoe, being available in three colorways to choose from.
