The Callaway Women's Epic Star Hybrids retail for $299.99 (MSRP) and as the name suggests, they're created for women golfers, being exceptionally forgiving, powerful, easy to launch and accurate. What gives those hybrids such amazing qualities? The answer is pretty simple: Callaway put their best technologies into these babies, including their patented/proprietary Standing Wave and Face Cup technology, together with an ultra light shaft and grip. The combo between the Epic Star Hybrids' advanced Standing Wave technology and Face Cup increases speed and distance, while the clubs' incredible light-weight is due to Callaway's use of state of the art/premium components, including a Grand Bassara graphite shaft and a fixed hosel.

The next gen 455 Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup will provide you with amazing speed and will deliver incredible ball-speeds all across the face for increased distance, especially on miss hits, while the Epic Star Hybrids' Ultra light Triaxial Carbon Crown is aimed at maximizing forgiveness. Callaway used carbon in the crown because it's much lighter than steel, and they repositioned the weight saved to increase the moment of inertia and to lower the center of gravity, in order to promote straighter, longer shots and an easy launch. Speaking of easy launch, the Epic Star Hybrids feature a metal injection molded tungsten infused Standing Wave technology, which works wonders for slower swing speed golfers seeking higher launches and increased carrying distance from any lie. Even if they're designed for women, these hybrids feature the exact-same technologies found in the standard Epic series, but the clubs were redesigned and improved to match slower swing speeds, and they're aimed at players of all skill levels. Bottom line, if you're a woman golfer looking for distance, easy speed, playability and accuracy from tee to green, the Epic Star Hybrids are very easy to recommend.
