The Volvik Vista DS 77 is built for a soft feel and extreme distance, being the perfect choice for players with a swing speed between 70 and 90 miles per hour. The ball's name is inspired from its compression rating, which is obviously 77. Volvik created the Vista DS 77 focusing on golfers with low to medium swing speeds who wish to acquire extra distance for their game. In order to generate the maximum amount of yardage, the ball comes with all sorts of distance enhancing features, i.e. every technology available in the company's portfolio. To enumerate just a few, let's talk about the high COR (short for coefficient of restitution, i.e. the higher the COR the more distance you get for your swing speed) for maximizing ball speed and the aforementioned 77 compression rating which reduces spin, these two working in tandem for providing you with extreme distance.

The Volvik Vista DS 77 also comes with a high velocity core which further increases speed, featuring a dual-core built for more spin on the green-side (with wedges) and less spin off the tee. The low driver-spin together with the longer impact time minimizes side-spin and increases yardage. The Volvik Vista DS 77 is built for delivering reduced drag for more distance due to its superior aerodynamics and, consequentially, an increased flight time off the tee via its soft Dual Spin core and the 372 dimple pattern on its cover. The soft core of the DS 77 is designed for providing excellent putting feel, a pleasant soft feel upon impact and more accurate shots, round after round. The Volvik Vista DS 77 is available in yellow, orange and white and it costs $22.99 per dozen (MSRP).
