    Huntsman Springs Golf Course Review

The Huntsman Springs Golf Course was designed by architect David McLay Kidd in 2010 and according to his own words, it makes for his best work ever, being a fantastic resort aimed at taking golfers on a unique adventure marked by subtlety, nuance and unpredictability. David McLay Kidd won Golf Magazines 2008 Architect of the Year award and the Huntsman Springs makes for one of Americas world class facilities, delivering a pure golfing experience together with an extraordinary golf course which is ranked as one of the best in the nation. The Huntsman Springs Golf Course sits on a beautiful piece of property in Huntsman Springs Drive, Driggs, Idaho state and its currently rated 5th in its home state as per Golf Digests 2013 2014 Best in State list and best new private course in 2010 by the same magazine. The golf course borrows its name from the ultra generous and mega wealthy Huntsman family. The Huntsman Springs Golf Courses patrons put up over 20 million dollars in developing this baby and they commissioned the architect of Bandon Dunes to put their project on the map so to speak.

The Huntsman Springs Golf Course features huge undulated fairways and greens together with an abundance of blown out natural looking bunkers , which are artificially raised on top of an almost perfectly flat wetlands property. The golf course is masterfully routed and it will present you with many challenges, yet its hugely fun to play despite the oodles of trouble you may get into. Theres a naturally running little creek flowing across the property, boasting its crystal clear waters, with the scenic Teton mountains providing an impressive view, so dont forget to take your camera, alright? Like all David McLay Kidds works, the Huntsman Springs Golf Course is built in a link style fashion and if youll be able to avoid the bunkers, the ground game will be your best pal.
