Today, the golf courses (there are 2 of them) at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club are widely regarded as East Coasts golf capitals. The Lagoon course and the Ocean course can be described as two of a perfect pair and each of them feature a unique seaside links design and flavor.
Playing the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club youll be flabbergasted by the beautiful natural surroundings, as the golf courses are built upon meandering lagoons, crossing through undulating fairways and their elevated Bermuda grass green are beautifully and strategically protected by steep faced bunkers. The Lagoon course features 6022 yards of golf from its longest tees for a 70 par and its a masterpiece of golf design, being co-authored by 2 of the best architects in the 20th century, Robert Trent Jones and Joe Lee. Both courses were restored recently by Bobby Weed, in 1998 and 2007 respectively.
